SAFETY, HEALTH & FUN FESTIVAL BURBANK CA NOV 6 2010

KIDS ARE 1ST presents the 1ST annual BEST BUY & GREAT INDOORS Family Safety Festival on Sat, Nov.6 - 11 AM – 3 PM located at the Burbank Empire Center. (North Victory Pl & Empire Ave. Great Indoors parking lot)

United Taxi Burbank will sponsor Kids Are 1st FREE child ID and car seat safety check, (appointments necessary). In addition, United Taxi will hand out free "green" tote bags as well as pens and coin purses.

Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter will be present distributing information about Pet Disaster Preparedness and programs that aid animals at the shelter and in the community.

Featured at the Health & Fun Festival will be

Mikey The Clown.

Food, Fun, and entertainment.

Kids Are 1st & United Independent Taxi at Abbot Kinney Festival Sept. 26 in Venice CA

United Independent Taxi to sponsor Free child ID & tote bags

Abbot Kinney Festival will be held on Sunday, September 26 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Kids Are 1st will be offering Free Child ID kits including a photograph and fingerprints of each child. Kids Are 1st is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. United Independent Taxi is the sponsor of Kids Are 1st and will be handing out free "green" tote bags to help save the environment.

 

Founded in 1984, the Abbot Kinney Festival is the second largest of its kind in Southern California. This popular community event attracts nearly 150,000 attendees from across the southland, including over 10,000 parents and children who participate in day-long cultural activities inside of the Festival’s Youth & Family Courtyard.

The Festival includes up to 400 artisan vendors, four stages (live music, DJs, and performances for families),  three food areas (including the famous Food Truck Alley), and two beer gardens.  Admission to the Abbot Kinney Festival is FREE and open to the public. Net proceeds from sponsorships, vendor booth fees, commemorative merchandise, event-run concessions, and festival guide advertising are reinvested into the community through grants awarded to local nonprofits, particularly those that serve at-risk youth.
